1. Who we are

AutoJob Applications ("the tool") is a private, invite-only, non-commercial service operated by Peter Eke, Benin City, Nigeria ("the operator"). It is used by a small closed group of accounting graduates. Contact: YOUR_EMAIL@example.com.

2. What data we collect

• Name and email address.
• Telegram user ID.
• The member's CV, including the contact details written in it (such as phone number and address).
• Job preferences: location, minimum salary, work schedule, and industry or role.
• The member's Gemini API key.
• The Google OAuth token that lets the tool send email from the member's Gmail account.

3. Google user data

The tool uses Google sign-in only to send job application emails from the member's Gmail account, at the member's request and only for applications the member has opted into. It does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not share it with third parties except as listed in section 5.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How data is used

Data is used only to prepare and send the member's own job applications and to notify the member of the result through Telegram. It is not used for any other purpose.

5. Third parties that process data

• Google (Gmail, Google Drive, and the Gemini AI service). CV content is sent to Google's Gemini AI to generate the tailored CV and cover letter, and Google Drive is used to store CV files and temporary working files.
• Telegram, used to send members notifications about their applications.
• A self-hosted n8n automation server operated by the operator, which runs the workflow.

No data is sold or shared with any other third party.

6. Job applications sent

Application emails are sent to the employer's address found in the vacancy post and contain the member's CV and cover letter. Employers therefore receive that CV, including the contact details in it.

7. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers and accounts controlled by the operator. Access is limited to the operator. Credentials and tokens are not shared with anyone else.

8. Retention and deletion

Data is kept only while the member is active. A member can leave at any time by emailing YOUR_EMAIL@example.com, and their data and stored tokens will be deleted. Members can also revoke the tool's access to their Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Emails already sent to employers cannot be recalled or deleted by the operator.

9. Children

The tool is not intended for anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
